Whiplash – Better Quality of Life:
Several years ago I was a passenger in a car accident and suffered whiplash injuries. Thus began a nightmare, from which I am still trying to recover. From being a fun-loving, physically active young woman, suddenly I became a subdued woman, as if "my light was extinguished," struggling with severe listlessness and chronic fatigue.

I managed to survive with a healthy diet and health supplements. Also, I tried to reduce mental stress as much as possible, and regain my energy through light weight training, massage and osteopathy – unfortunately it wasn't enough for my "invisible disease", the paralyzing fatigue and listlessness persisted. By chance, a teacher recommended that I try Rolfing.

I can still remember the first Rolfing session. The following day I felt very tired, and then for a few days I felt enormous energy in my body, I could honestly move mountains! Later sessions have given me similar energy spurts, and I recovered my hope that it's possible to gain back more energy. After a year of treatment, my quality of life has improved. Nevertheless, it is still necessary for me to improve my energy balance to better participate in the "flow" of my life.

My experience with Rolfing is that when my body is well and I feel comfortable in it, I also feel better mentally and psychologically. In spite of poor health conditions, healthy eating, conscious living and Rolfing enabled me to complete successfully a Master's degree in the summer of 2010. I also feel I am coming a little closer to recovering a sense of "flow" in my life. I would like to thank Ms. Marsidi sincerely for her professional and very perceptive, empathetic work.
